Test and Quality Assurance Lead

As Test and QA Lead, you will drive the test strategy agenda and lead the Test and QA guild within Danica IT. You will work closely with testers, test automation engineers, and product owners from different squads to ensure best practices and continuous improvement in testing. The role focuses on establishing and evolving test processes, supporting agile teams, and promoting quality across all products and services. You will collaborate across Danica and Danica IT, leveraging agile methodologies and advanced technologies to deliver excellent quality outcomes. This is a strategic role with significant impact on our DevOps and product development teams.

• Extensive experience in QA leadership, focusing on infrastructure transformation projects
• Proven expertise in test automation, continuous integration, and QA strategy development
• Experience with various testing tools and technologies, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ISTQB, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and agile methodologies. ISTQB certification (or similar) is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience within the financial services sector is preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to coach and develop a team of QA engineers
• Advanced English language skills
