If you answered yes to these questions, then you might be a valuable addition to our team as a Technology Risk and Controls Specialist in the Technology Risk Assessments and Controls (TRAC) team, part of Security, Resiliency and Control – a unit dedicated to keeping Danske Bank safe and secure from technology risk.

As our new Technology Risk and Controls Expert, you will be part of a team that provides technology risk assessment and advisory services for the bank. From a functional perspective, you will help manage and conduct technology risk assessments with service owners, who are key stakeholders, and consult on a wide range of new and emerging technology risk areas as part of various strategic initiatives.

You will:

  • Focus on the quality assurance function related to Danske Bank’s Technology risk and control assessment process
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvement, communicate these to colleagues within the TRAC team in a collaborative yet clear manner, and follow through to ensure recommendations are implemented
  • Collaborate with colleagues focused on technology risk to execute Technology risk assessments
  • Review the technology risk register for poor quality, inconsistent, or outdated risk records, and take action to remediate
  • Respond to ad hoc requests related to risk or control tailoring, and amend technical descriptions of controls as needed

About you:

  • 6+ years’ experience in IT risk and control management and third-party risk management
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying technology risks and managing controls throughout their lifecycle, including designing, implementing, validating, and testing controls to demonstrate operating effectiveness
  • Experience in roles involving quality assurance activities within the technology risk and control domain, such as identifying and escalating defects, performing technical reviews, and contributing to process improvements
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards such as GDPR, DORA, ISF Standard of Good Practice, NIST, PCI DSS, and PSD2
  • Experience working with ServiceNow GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) tooling and JIRA
  • Experience managing stakeholders in the financial sector with a variety of seniorities and technical understanding, with the ability to explain and educate stakeholders on IT risk and controls and related topics
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Collaborative approach, ability to work across diverse teams and advanced English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 4480 EUR to 6720 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
