Tech Product Owner – Platforms and Corporate Self-Service at Danica

Danica, Channels Cluster, is seeking a dynamic and skilled Product Owner to head our Platforms & Corporate Self-Service Squad. Located in Denmark, India, Malaysia, and Lithuania, our diverse teams are part of a larger IT and business development unit focusing on revolutionizing the self-service implementations of Danica using cutting-edge technologies. Our goal is to enhance the pension service experience, making it seamless and straightforward for our customers through innovative digital solutions and state-of-the-art workflow automation.

You will:

In our Channels Cluster, we focus on crafting intuitive, high-performance digital solutions including web interfaces and mobile applications. These efforts support Danica’s strategic objectives by delivering outstanding user experiences across various platforms, promoting innovation, prioritising a user-first strategy, and ensuring accessibility and system responsiveness.

  • Craft and maintain the squad’s mission and vision to align with organisational goals
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with all stakeholders to tailor solutions that meet customer needs effectively
  • Develop, manage, and prioritise the squad’s product backlog, converting business priorities into clear and actionable user stories
  • Oversee compliance and perform risk assessments for the squad’s projects and processes
  • Foster a motivating and collaborative team environment, promoting empowerment and innovation
  • Handle people management duties, including coaching, performance reviews, and setting clear objectives – leading with a purpose

About you:

  • You possess at least 3 years of experience in a Product Owner, Project Manager, or similar leadership role within a tech-driven environment, preferably developing web applications and managing third-party integrations
  • You have a background in software development or a related technical field, enhancing your ability to guide technical projects to successful completions
  • You demonstrate a strong customer focus, adept at delivering both customer-facing digital solutions and back-end technical implementations
  • You are experienced in managing technical resources, such as developer tools, application monitoring, alerting systems, and API management to ensure smooth and efficient system operations
  • You are skilled in leading agile product development teams and facilitating agile ways of working effectively
  • Your leadership abilities are top-notch, with a proven track record of inspiring teams, setting strategic directions, and fostering excellent collaborative environments
  • You excel at bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring both strategic and operational coherence
  • Your proficiency in English is advanced, covering both written and verbal communications

Nice to Have Experience:

  • Experience with cloud technologies, including OpenShift, AWS or similar platforms, to support scalable and flexible digital solutions
  • Proficiency with monitoring and visualisation tools such as Kibana, Grafana, and Adobe Analytics to enhance data-driven decision-making
  • Experience in building RESTful APIs to facilitate efficient and secure data exchange between systems
  • Experience in building developer tooling to streamline and enhance the development process

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3920 EUR to 5880 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
