Solution Architect at Everyday Banking Individuals Tribe

We have opened this position as we are growing a team to modernize our customer engagement and mobile experience. We are in a need of a solution architect specialized in data processing and analytics to drive our channels transformation.

As our new solution architect, you will be at the forefront of architecting systems, which are the lifeblood of everyday banking data analytics. Your contributions will impact how cards, accounts and payments services help our customers across Nordic countries.

About the Everyday Banking Individuals tribe

Our mission is to ensure seamless day-to-day digital banking for personal customers and deliver on the Danske Bank strategy, which continues the digital transformation with high expectations on customer experience in the cards, accounts, and payments domains. At the same time rejuvenating the technology stack moving towards cloud and offering new services which meet our customers evolving needs.

We are seeking a candidate who has a robust understanding of common cloud architecture patterns and practices, along with experience in managing data and working with data-intensive applications.

Additionally, we are particularly interested in candidates who have a solid background in Microsoft .Net, as this forms the foundation of our development environment. The ideal candidate should also be well-versed in the regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to the digital banking sector, such as PCI DSS, PSD2, GDPR, among others, ensuring our operations align with industry standards.

You will:

  • Design and lead the development of new solutions, alongside both technical and business stakeholders
  • Provide technical insights, guidance, and ideate solutions to achieve business outcomes in the most efficient way
  • You will be part of defining new data products, creating target architectures, and safeguarding the health and quality of our systems
  • Design and review services for performance, maintainability, and reliability, taking technical responsibility for the current and future state of our solutions and architecture
  • Work in a cross-functional agile squad while also collaborating with other architects within your cluster of squads and across the tribe

About you:

  • You are ready to rethink how we do data analytics in a green field data mesh setup
  • You are an effective communicator who demonstrates good technical understanding, fosters a collaborative environment and support across development teams
  • You have no problem in taking responsibility for a system portfolio, ensuring high level documentation and roadmaps towards target architectures. You are evaluating impact of design decisions on solution level
  • You build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, vendors and 3rd parties, as well as setting the technical direction and communicating priorities in a clear way
  • You understand that you are part of a large corporation where you ensure architecture compliance with enterprise architecture standards and guard rails
  • Skilled in managing and designing complex infrastructure solutions according to best practices.
  • Ability and experience building architecture roadmaps and Ability to communicate design choices and alternatives clearly and systematically to various stakeholders
  • Hands on experience in building Microservices, Data pipelines, CQRS, Observability, Streaming, Event driven pub/sub. And public cloud, ideally AWS
  • Advanced English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 4880 EUR to 7320 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
