The Solution Development Team at Danske Bank is part of a global organisation with team members in Lithuania, Denmark, and India. The team is responsible for developing, operating, and maintaining key platforms, applications, and integrations that support both IT and non-IT business solutions. ServiceNow is a strategic platform at Danske Bank, used widely across the organisation for IT services management.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will join the Solution Development Team, working closely with colleagues from all the countries where Danske Bank operates. This role will involve collaborating with engineers, service managers, business analysts, product owners, and various stakeholders across the organisation.

Your primary focus will be on developing the group’s compliance ServiceNow instance, ensuring that the platform aligns with stakeholder needs and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of existing ServiceNow modules, the development of new applications and features, and building and maintaining integrations with other systems. You will also play an essential role in maintaining the platform, including the application itself, its underlying infrastructure, and performing version upgrades.

You will:

  • Upskill and maintain up-to-date knowledge on the ServiceNow platform, it’s modules and applications, offer suggestions on how to add value with new features and functionality
  • Work closely with the rest of your squad to understand your stakeholders’ requirements and deliver quality solutions that meet agreed criteria and are within platform principles and governance
  • Understand the platform capabilities, find and apply best practices from the market
  • Collaborate with other teams across the organization

About you:

  • Previous experience in ServiceNow administration and development (preferably) or in platform engineering, system administration, application support or development positions
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of IT principles: Servers, Databases, Networks etc
  • Familiarity with IT processes (e.g., ITIL, IT4IT) and general Service Management principles
  • Willingness to learn, upskill and build new competencies at ServiceNow administration and development
  • Fast-learner, self-motivated and curious to learn and improve in all aspects of the position
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, Jelly, HTML/CSS, XML, AJAX or other programming and scripting languages (would be a bonus)
  • Upper-Intermediate skills in written and spoken English

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3360 EUR to 5040 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
