The Risk and Compliance Tribe is looking to expand and is looking for a (senior) data analyst. The Tribe brings together business and IT professionals into cross-functional teams which enables us to work in a truly Agile organisation. Each team is self-organized and empowers members to make decisions and take action to deliver on products and services for our stakeholders.

Currently we are looking for a Senior Technical Risk Analyst to support our Impairments & Stress Test Analytics squad on their mission to ‘Keep the Bank safe through a strong and solid impairment process and risk reporting’.

Additionally, you will be part of the Risk Analyst Chapter. As part of our chapter, you will contribute to a culture of collaboration, learning, and shared goals.

This position will be based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

You will:

As a team member, you will work on IFRS9 and stress test models, enhance data controls, support compliance tasks, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the bank.

Overall, in this role you will be exposed to activities related to:

  • Performing what-if analyses on IFRS and stress test models and deep-dives into underlying changes in results
  • Improving data controls and engaging in external reporting and regulatory deliveries, as well as audit and validation requests
  • Supporting colleagues with operational part of model runs, such as initiating model runs, ensuring the correct data is pulled into the models, performing basic checks, and verifying that everything functions as expected
  • Performing various investigative tasks to ensure compliance and efficiency

You will also get the opportunity to collaborate with a wide set of stakeholders in the Bank.

About you:

We are seeking someone interested in data, motivated to explore root causes of changes, and focused on investigative work. Overall, we expect that you:

  • Have 2+ years of experience as a data analyst, preferably in the financial sector
  • Are skilled in SQL coding and have practical experience in Python
  • You possess a strong analytical mindset and a self-driven approach, take full ownership of tasks, are skilled at investigating data patterns, and precisely provide clear explanations for the underlying reasons behind changes
  • Can communicate complex matters in a simple and understandable way in English, tailored for specific user audiences
  • Have an academic background in mathematics, statistics, econometrics or similar
  • Advanced skills in English

Experience with financial reporting, complex modelling, and data/model governance would be considered an advantage.

Monthly salary range from 3600 EUR to 5400 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
