Senior Project Manager for Developer Experience

We are thrilled to announce the new position of Senior Project Manager (PM) for Developer Experience (DX) Tribe. This role is pivotal in driving significant organizational outcomes through the adept execution of critical projects, directly influencing project goals and objectives.

As a PM, you will strategically manage and maintain the balance between scope, cost, and time, leading both yourself and diverse project teams to ensure a focus on delivering substantial value to customers and business areas. This role demands high-level interactions and a strong ability to maintain strategic focus, aligning immediate project needs with the long-term objectives of Danske Bank, thereby enhancing both influence and visibility within the organization.

You will:

  • Be capable of deliberately and methodically selecting management activities, methods, involving and behavior, which is needed in the specific project. Meaning to tailor project management according to the specific project terms and characteristics
  • Understand that project management involves both management and leadership
  • Plan, monitor, report, and communicate transparently on the project
  • Direct projects in Danske Bank to realize project objectives
  • Facilitate the correct organizational setup for the project and establish working relationships with business areas, suppliers, Steering committee, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure that project deliverables conform to strategy directions and desired system architecture
  • Be responsible for team building, guidance, and skills development to achieve project goals
  • Adhere to project management best practices, methodologies, systems, and tools as defined by Danske Bank
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the project management process

  • Your leadership skills ensure that you can guide diverse teams, mostly consisting of developers and IT professionals, to achieve high standards and successful project execution
  • Strong abilities in maintaining and proving your points to high-level stakeholders are crucial. Your effective communication skills help in building and sustaining professional relationships
  • Understanding the financial implications and business context of projects is essential for strategic decision-making
  • You possess a solid understanding of software development processes and an engineering mindset which helps in aligning the project outcomes with technical requirements and company architecture
  • Advanced English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3840 EUR to 5760 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
