Senior Programme Management Office Specialist

Join us as a Senior PMO (Programme Management Office) specialist in the Strategy Execution Team!

The Personal Customers business unit serves Danske Bank’s individual customers in Denmark, Finland and Sweden – from broad retail to affluent and wealth management clients. As a PMO specialist focusing mainly on reporting, you will play a vital role in ensuring that high-impact initiatives are delivered as planned. You will be responsible for identifying and flagging any deviations, obstacles or challenges, helping to remove roadblocks and support the successful realisation of anticipated outcomes.

You will join the PMO & Strategy Alignment team within the Strategy Execution Team, driving the implementation of the Forward ’28 strategy for Personal Customers. We focus on orchestrating initiative design and delivery, ensuring clear decision-making, prioritization, risk management, and alignment across business units and group functions.

The team collaborates closely with programme managers that are driving the implementation of execution initiatives, strategy teams that ensure consistency of strategy execution with the overall directions set out in the Forward ’28 strategy and other entities in the group that are following up on strategy execution (incl. Group Strategy, Finance and strategy execution teams in other Business Units).

The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

*Please note that this is a fixed-term contract for maternity cover.

You will:

  • Build a deep understanding of execution status across the entire portfolio of strategy execution initiatives – covering both digital and non-digital development
  • Monitor overall progress and collaborate closely with colleagues across teams
  • Ensure identification and flagging of any deviations, obstacles or challenges
  • Facilitate various cross-organizational forums on different levels
  • Translate your knowledge into strategic progress and highlight to senior management with tangible recommendations when relevant
  • Connect with reporting needs from central entities (e.g. Group Strategy, Finance)

About you:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in strategy execution, consultancy or PMO working with reporting
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate complex subjects clearly and precisely while aligning with key stakeholders both written and spoken
  • Structured approach, willingness to take ownership and ensure timely, high-quality deliveries
  • Collaborative, energetic, proactive, open to new tasks and ready to take on interesting and complex tasks
  • Higher degree in a relevant field like economics or business
  • Advanced English skills – especially in written

Monthly salary range from 3600 EUR to 5400 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
