Transforming Debt Collection

We are building the future debt collection solution, a cornerstone of Danske Bank’s ‘Forward ‘28’ strategy, focusing on digitalisation, data, and compliance to enhance customer support and processes and customer journeys.

Leadership and Stakeholder Management

As a Product Owner in the Debt Management Development Tribe you will be aligning priorities and interacting with a large and complex stakeholder landscape. Internally, key stakeholders will be IT service owners, compliance and risk specialists, key business stakeholders, fellow product owners, tribe leadership in the Tribe. The external debt collection agencies and IT system vendors. You need stakeholder management skills, being able to navigate in a large and complex business and IT organization.

About You and Your Team

You will motivate and lead a global team of 8-12 cross-functional squad members, acting as an inspiring leader. Your interpersonal and leadership skills will create an inclusive work environment that promotes empowerment and teamwork. You will guide your team to our high-priority goals.

You will:

  • Drive the development of innovative solutions that enhance the debt collection journey, ensuring alignment with Danske Bank’s strategic goals
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including IT service owners, compliance specialists, and third-party vendors, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of debt collection systems
  • Facilitate effective communication across all organisational levels, promoting transparency and understanding of project objectives and progress
  • Lead your team with a customer-centric focus, fostering an environment that supports solution-oriented thinking and agile methodologies
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges, using dialogue and alignment to overcome obstacles and ensure project success
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making and ownership skills, bridging the gap between business needs and IT capabilities within a complex technical domain
  • Inspire and motivate your squad by setting clear directions and serving as a role model, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business requirements, and corporate strategy

About you:

  • Possess significant experience as a Senior Product Owner, with a strong foundation in banking and technology
  • Demonstrate the ability to guide your squad by setting directions that align with customer needs, business requirements, and the Group’s strategic objectives
  • Be skilled at balancing short- and long-term objectives, committed to raising the standard of delivery
  • Inspire and motivate your squad by serving as a role model, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Exhibit proven expertise in managing complex stakeholders across all organisational levels, ensuring effective collaboration and communication
  • Bring valuable experience in agile development environments, enhancing project efficiency and adaptability
  • Offer insights from third-party management or remediation projects, particularly within regulatory contexts, as a distinct advantage
  • Have Advanced English language skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 5520 EUR to 8280 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
