Senior IT Business Analyst for Enriching Cards Squad

Our development tribe is called Everyday Banking Individuals (EBIN), and our aim is to create a seamless and intuitive everyday banking experiences for Nordic customers. We make simple and intuitive digital solutions across cards, accounts, and payments.

Squad Enriching Cards is currently seeking a new Business and Functional Specialist (BFS). The ideal BFS is not only skilled in Business Analytics but also embodies a proactive, positive, and curious attitude towards new opportunities.

We are on the lookout for someone who has a keen interest in Customer Journeys, Project Management, and possesses technical skills. The BFS role is a demanding role, but you will also have a central say in the solutions we make, and even run some of our larger projects. It involves a critical part in various facets such as investigating and refining requirements, engaging with stakeholders, conducting tests, and ensuring developers create accurate solutions.

You will:

  • Proactively take charge, drive projects forward, and create networks both on-premises and online, maintaining a structured and curious approach to all tasks
  • Utilize your deep understanding of data by working with SQL queries, data structures, and Excel sheets to enhance decision-making processes
  • Engage in software development discussions, including specifications, build, test, and release processes, and effectively communicate with developers and technical staff
  • Demonstrate a keen sense of project management, focusing on detail-oriented problem-solving and maintaining an overview of dependencies, stakeholders, and risks
  • Enhance end-customer experiences and journeys from a technical standpoint, moving beyond just UI and UX considerations
  • Facilitate meetings and ceremonies within co-located teams, taking responsibility for the dynamics and outcomes of these interactions
  • Challenge existing processes and approaches, confidently facing resistance to implement effective changes
  • Support operational tasks, ensuring the maintenance of existing solutions with a critical and ownership-based mindset, and respond timely to organizational or customer inquiries

About you:

  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Technical skills and understandings would be considered a big bonus
  • Ability to work individually and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to balance the focus on detail with the wider context of a project
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, an eagerness to share knowledge, and a continuous learning
  • Knowledge about software development and quality assurance (QA) would be appreciated but is not a requirement
  • Advanced English language skills

Monthly salary range from 3440 EUR to 5160 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
