Senior IT Business Analyst for Developer Experience

We are looking for engaged and skilled colleagues to join our newly established Developer Advocacy Squad within the Developer Experience (DX) Tribe. The Senior IT Business Analyst role is central to our strategic emphasis on enhancing our tribe’s engagements to positively impact the awareness and adoption of best practices, and to make Danske Bank a great place to be a developer. role is crucial in establishing a stronger engagement with the developer community and in understanding and translating developer needs into actionable, strategic solutions that enhance both efficiency and effectiveness.

You will become part of a dynamic team mandated to support a stronger engagement between the DX Tribe and the developer community. This includes understanding developer challenges, translating needs and expectations into actionable, strategic solutions, and to drive understanding of and enhancements in the tribe’s portfolio of standard developer tools and processes. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the bank and inside the tribe, providing you with a broad understanding of how we coordinate and align efforts to ensure the success of our overall strategy.

More concretely, you will act as a change agent to drive awareness and adoption of the DX Tribe’s tools and processes and deliver insights and recommendations ensuring that the extensive portfolio of the tribe, aligns with the needs and expectations of the developers. Your role is crucial in understanding and translating developer pains and needs into actionable solutions that enhance both efficiency, effectiveness and developer satisfaction.

You will:

  • Act as a change agent towards the developer community, supporting and driving awareness and adoption of the DX Tribe’s tools and processes
  • Conduct thorough analysis to understand developer challenges and align findings with business strategies
  • Gather and refine requirements directly from developers, translating them into technical specifications while ensuring they map to high-level business goals
  • Collect, collaborate and share insights with relevant squads within the DX Tribe, enabling them to tailor tools and processes to meet the developer needs and pains, and to enhance the level of self-service capabilities offered
  • Provide stakeholders with data-backed reports that highlight developer needs, trends, and impacts, to help prioritise the most valuable initiatives
  • Alongside other squad members (to be hired), prepare presentations, organise workshops, and facilitate discussions, trainings and other engagements to ensure ongoing and consistent dialogue with developers
  • As the squad matures, drive your own initiatives and projects to enhance the tribe’s engagement with the developer community

Furthermore, you need to be able to apply an analytic and data-driven approach to decision-making. Lastly, as we are a newly formed squad – who is still ramping up – you work well with uncertainty and can adjust quickly.

Specifically, we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a tech-driven environment
  • Understanding of IT processes and architecture
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical tools and business intelligence software
  • A can-do attitude, structured, and focused on agreed actions and deliveries
  • Proactive problem-solver who anticipates challenges and works efficiently to find solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development in the tech and business analysis fields
  • Experience working in an Agile context is beneficial but not required
  • Advanced English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3440 EUR to 5160 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
