Design and build the financing customer journey of the future. You will join the Financing Businesses Tribe and help design and build front-end solutions for performance, reliability, and scale. You will collaborate across disciplines with architects, front-end and cloud engineers, business analysts, and UX specialists to deliver modern web experiences.

Our technology stack includes modern React with TypeScript, REST API integrations (.NET and AWS), and robust automated testing using Jest, Playwright, and Cypress. We employ Git-based workflows with continuous integration via GitHub Actions, OpenShift, and Docker, alongside a strong focus on accessibility, performance monitoring, and design system adoption. Additionally, we responsibly leverage GenAI tools to enhance development and learning efficiency.

You will work in an agile environment inspired by the Spotify model. Professionals form chapters (e.g., Cloud, Front-End, Business Analysts) and cross-functional squads focus on clear product outcomes. The tribe builds modern solutions that help colleagues in Danske Bank handle one of our core business areas, financing, and we are developing self-service solutions for customers. Our web apps are mainly built in React and integrate with our .NET mid-tier.

Join as a Senior Front-End Engineer in our Tribe’s Front-End Chapter and take charge of building scalable, high-quality web applications while mentoring team members and driving technical excellence.

You will:

Design and develop modern React-based single-page applications from the ground up
Lead front-end features throughout the development lifecycle, from ideation to implementation
Collaborate with Product Owners on technical matters, ensuring prioritisation of the most impactful tasks
Address and resolve security concerns, including npm and container vulnerabilities
Provide onboarding support and mentorship to junior colleagues, promoting their growth and development
Organise and lead engaging, well-prepared Chapter sessions, workshops, or dedicated days
Contribute to and publish Chapter-owned libraries, improving shared resources and team efficiency
Review and enhance our Reference Architecture – the tribe’s repository of best development practices

About you:

Comprehensive expertise of React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
Ability to architect a modern React-based single-page application from scratch
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complicated technical issues
Strong communication skills with the ability to give constructive feedback in code reviews and upper-intermediate English skills
Self-driven, proactive, and able to take ownership of features and initiatives
Proficient with CI/CD tooling, including GitHub Actions and AWS
End-to-end and UI testing with Playwright or Cypress
Proficient in Git, including branching strategies and handling merge conflicts
Ability to leverage GenAI tools to improve development efficiency
Nice to have: Experience with Python/.NET, BPMN/Camunda
Upper-Intermediate English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 4320 EUR to 6480 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
