The Digital Front Door tribe is looking for an experienced Senior Digital Designer to concentrate on design systems and customer journeys for products and services throughout the organisation and ultimately for our customers. If you are enthusiastic about uniting people around design, finding ways to standardise common features and components in creating and maintaining design patterns and assets, and assisting other designers in applying them to their work, this role could be ideal for you.

As a Senior Digital Designer, you will work with the design team to be a custodian of our component libraries and design systems for web and apps. We are currently navigating an exciting and challenging transition with a new third-party platform that will be gradually integrated and enabled across our various channels. A key aspect of this transition is to translate and embed our design principles and new visual identity into the design system and journey offerings to deliver genuine, consistent Danske Bank experiences. And this is just the beginning!

You will:

Ensure the maintenance, evolution, and scalability of the design systems
Lead the transformation of design assets into practical, reusable patterns, integrating them into design systems and customer journeys
Ensure design assets are consistent and accessible to all users of the design systems
Review new features introduced to our channels while governing and safeguarding the systems’ principles and components, ensuring their correct implementation
Support designers on projects by providing consultation and translating their needs into the design system when relevant

About you:

5+ years of hands-on design experience from working with native applications and its components across different platforms
A portfolio of work that showcases excellence in user experience and visual design
Ability to translate visual brand identities into
Possessing a holistic, user-centric mindset and a passion for engaging, digital experiences
Demonstrated ability to build design components and written documentation – organized into libraries that are enjoyable and easy to use for other designers
Ability to build trust and partnerships across an organization, fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration
Communication skills: you will be navigating a broad stakeholder landscape daily and your ability to advocate for e.g. UI consistency with designers, developers, product owners, and executives through presentations, visuals and writing is key
Advanced English skills – spoken and written

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 2960 EUR to 4440 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
