The Cloud Data Platform is part of the Data Platform Tribe, which supports data professionals across Danske Bank.

Our squad is responsible for designing and maintaining a new enterprise data platform based on Databricks and hosted on AWS. We lead the platform’s development by building scalable infrastructure with Terraform and delivering best-practice templates and frameworks. These capabilities include data ingestion, processing, curation, orchestration, protection, and management. Our focus is on moving beyond legacy tools and environments to enable work on a modern tech stack across platform capabilities.

You will:

  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipeline templates for data engineering and machine learning using Databricks Asset Bundles
  • Design and implement a technical framework for data products
  • Assist in deploying and updating cloud-based data platform infrastructure using Terraform
  • Administer the data platform while ensuring compliance with strict security policies
  • Collaborate on developing monitoring and observability solutions and standards for the platform
  • Enable scalable, event-based data ingestion
  • Support the automation and optimisation of data engineering workflows

About you:

  • 3-7 years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure role with a focus on data-oriented architectures
  • Proficiency in CI/CD environments such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, and tools like Docker, Bash scripting, and Git
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage diverse tasks, as the role involves minimal repetitive work
  • Self-motivated with advanced English proficiency and the ability to inspire yourself and others
  • Experience with implementing Databricks in an enterprise environment is highly beneficial
  • Knowledge of AWS or other public cloud data platforms is advantageous
  • Background as a Data Engineer or Data Scientist, along with familiarity with Pub/Sub and Kafka streaming services, is beneficial
  • Advanced English skills

Monthly salary range from 4160 EUR to 6240 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
