The Platform Tribe is undergoing a significant transformation, moving away from a centralized enterprise data warehouse to an approach that supports domain-oriented decentralized data ownership. Domains are empowered to own their data with a product mindset. They focus on delivering clear value and ensuring high quality. These domains publish data products supported by self-serve data infrastructure as a platform, underpinned by federated computational governance. This governance promotes collaboration, establishes shared standards, and enforces automated policies.
As a new Senior Data Architect, you will join the Data Platform Tribe, which is operationally responsible for systems within Data & Analytics. The Tribe consists of 150 team members across Denmark, Lithuania, and India.
The Senior Data Architect role involves designing solutions that meet business and development requirements while aligning with strategic architecture direction and roadmaps. A core aspect of your responsibilities will be shaping and advancing standards and governance policies to guide data ingestion, technical design and development of data products, publishing in the data marketplace, and the implementation of robust data quality frameworks within a data mesh environment. Additionally, the role requires maintaining advanced knowledge across multiple technologies, domains, and disciplines, including event-driven data architectures, data management frameworks such as DMBOK, semantic web concepts, and linked data principles. You will play a key role in facilitating the adoption of industry best practices and driving innovation in these areas.
