Senior Business Analyst to Cost Management

Cost Management is pivotal in developing cost allocation models to enhance internal pricing and profitability insights at the Bank. This role as a Senior Business Analyst involves optimizing the bank’s cost allocation framework, leading reporting domain and increasing transparency, and efficiency through data-driven insights. You will handle large datasets, improve automation and data quality, oversee supporting the bank’s cost transformation efforts. This position promises a steep learning curve with stakeholder interaction and deep dives into cost management and business processes.

You will:

  • Apply proficiency in reporting tools to help develop insightful reports that aid strategic decision-making and enhance communication with stakeholders
  • Lead and manage process transformations, leveraging strong project management skills to deliver project-related work across departments efficiently
  • Utilize advanced data querying techniques to extract and analyze critical information, ensuring strategic decisions are data-driven and impactful
  • Design and implement sustainable cost allocation processes in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure cost transparency and cost optimization
  • Collaborate within the Cost Management team located in Denmark and Lithuania, as well as with stakeholders across Danske Bank

About you:

  • Have at least 3 years of working experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
  • A degree in finance, accounting, economics, or similar
  • Experience in SQL or other database programming languages is a MUST
  • Solid experience building dashboards in Tableau
  • An analytical mind-set and being self-driven
  • Clear and effective communication, planning, and strong stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to improve current practices, suggest new ways of working and offer value-added ideas
  • Upper-Intermediate English language skills
  • Academic or practical experience with Activity Based Costing (ABC) is beneficial but not a requirement

Monthly salary range from 3600 EUR to 5400 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
