Senior Business Analyst in Group Treasury

The Internal Bank team is part of Group Treasury and is focused on a range of Treasury finance tasks. The team is primarily responsible for managing the bank’s internal funds transfer pricing framework for capital, funding and liquidity costs as well as providing intelligence on the balance sheet and net interest income developments. Transfer pricing is complex, traversing multiple disciplines and functions within the Bank and is a crucial component in terms of the bank’s pricing and profitability.

You will be part of a team of seven dedicated colleagues working in an international setting in Copenhagen and Vilnius. All tasks cater around providing advice on balance sheet-related matters in plain and simple language. We are a progressive, efficient and open team of diverse expertise and a fun place to work.

Key stakeholders for the team include customer relationship managers in the branch network, finance and pricing staff, and business developers throughout business units and finance departments as well as the bank’s Asset & Liability Committee where senior management discusses balance sheet and net interest income developments.

You will be located in Vilnius, Lithuania.

You will:

  • Be responsible for the funds transfer pricing of banking and trading products
  • Structure complex tasks by running monthly end-to-end processes
  • Take part in Treasury finance tasks, including business controlling, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Perform project management tasks, e.g., development of specialised pricing and profitability tools
  • Support senior management with ad-hoc analytics

About you:

  • 2-4 years of work experience in analytical field within the banking area
  • Higher degree in business administration, economics or similar
  • Strong analytical and mathematical mindset and familiarity with data management tools, Excel and PowerPoint, including knowledge of using (and preferably in that order) Python, SQL, VBA or similar
  • General knowledge of banking essentials in terms of balance sheet, income drivers, net interest income, funds transfer pricing, capital, funding and liquidity, accounting and regulation
  • Agile, detail-oriented and problem-solving approach
  • Effective communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Flexible and learner mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality results while meeting strict deadlines
  • Upper-Intermediate skills in English

Monthly salary range from 3600 EUR to 5400 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
