Senior Business Analyst for Data Products

Danica, a member of the Danske Bank group, specializes in providing pension and health insurance services. As part of the Forward 28 initiative, we are making significant investments in our data landscape. Earlier this year, we established the Data Products squad, initially comprising four data engineers and a business analyst. This autumn we want to welcome additional team members to the team.

In broad terms, the team helps the data domains with building the Danica Data Product portfolio in our data mesh strategy. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with domain experts in the different areas of Danica to describe the portfolio of data products. This entails creating data products definitions, roadmaps and talking to our stakeholders about their requirements. The current focus is on the health product, where we want to launch the first data products by the end of year.

You will:

  • Keep track of the Danica portfolio of Data Products by developing requirements for new data products in a collaborate manor
  • Maintain product lifecycles and value by measuring adoption across Danica
  • Help define and refine key metrics that is used to describe the business of Danica
  • Track that the owners of Data Products are following the standards for data products
  • Work agile in a squad split evenly between Lithuania and Denmark
  • Make sure that we are following group instructions

About you:

  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with bridging business curriculum with data/technology. E.g. you can draw how the data product should look like based on conversations with stakeholders and then forward it to a Data Engineer
  • Experience using data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to communicate insights and create portfolio performance overviews is a strong advantage
  • Upper-Intermediate English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3600 EUR to 5400 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
