Senior Business Analyst for Credit Analytics Transformation Anchoring Team

Are you a curious and analytical professional with an investigatory mind who can help us identify business processes and use your great stakeholder management skills to anchor initiatives within business areas? Would you like to work with people and facilitate problem-solving through team collaboration? Perhaps you should join the Credit Analytics Transformation Anchoring team!

Join the Credit Analytics Transformation (CAT) Programme

The CAT Programme in Risk Analytics was launched in September 2022 to deliver on Danske Bank’s long-term strategy. The programme aims to ensure compliance by redeveloping the IRB (Internal Ratings-Based) Framework and credit risk models. The CAT Programme’s deliveries are closely tied to credit decisions and capital allocation, carrying a high impact throughout the entire organisation.

We are looking for someone to join our CAT Anchoring team. The team consists of highly skilled professionals located in both Copenhagen and Vilnius. We are responsible for implementing all the new IRB models developed within the programme. This involves analysing complex issues to find solutions for affected business processes from both a technical and organisational perspective, in collaboration with the Risk Tribe (IT) and other business areas such as Business Customers, Large Corporates and Institutions (LC&I), and Personal Customers. We ensure that stakeholders are involved in driving the specific deliveries of the implementation plan and collaborate to ensure all elements are accounted for.

The position will provide you with broad exposure and cross-organisational knowledge of Danske Bank. Your focus will be to capture business requirements for the affected processes and ensure that programme changes are communicated and anchored within each business area. We work closely with many areas within and outside the programme, so stakeholder management is key.

Depending on your experience, you may be offered a different seniority of the role.

"We celebrate multiple approaches and points of view. We believe diversity drives innovation."

You will:

  • Identify affected business processes and underlying IT systems; analyse and define requirements and adjustments needed for the technical implementation
  • Support model development and application streams on business and process requirements for the applications towards the FSA
  • Ensure actions are taken regarding operational implications for credit decisions, impairments, and capital allocation
  • Create a communication plan and manage stakeholders for both strategic and operational business impacts to ensure the organisation is sufficiently prepared for the implemented changes and implications for their processes
  • Plan change management, including training materials and a training plan for impacted users, in collaboration with the affected business areas
  • Ensure implementation risk assessments are conducted
  • Create, maintain, and report/track progress on an implementation plan

About you:

  • Experience in a similar position within development projects and process changes, IT projects, or other similar projects
  • Knowledge of credit risk and credit processes
  • Experience in credit-adjacent functions is a great plus (e.g., in areas like Business Customers, LC&I, and Personal Customers)
  • Advanced English skills, great interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to communicate well with senior management
  • Proactive and service-minded, with integrity in handling confidential information
  • High proficiency with presentation tools such as PowerPoint
  • Ability to quickly create an overview and identify gaps for complex problem-solving
  • Enjoy taking ownership and driving tasks to completion, as well as finding ways to communicate complex topics in a simple manner, both verbally and in writing
  • A structured approach and a collaborative spirit in problem-solving and task delivery
