Risk Specialist in ESG Risk Methods and Analytics

If you are fascinated by assessing, managing and reporting risks in the financial sector, we cannot wait to connect with you! This role offers a valuable opportunity to work in the interesting field of emerging risks related to Environment, Social and Governance (ESG).

Our team, located in Vilnius and Copenhagen, comprises Data Scientists, Risk Specialists and Business Analysts who are enthusiastic about leveraging their analytical and risk management skills to define and maintain the Group’s ESG risk profile. In addition to assessing ESG risks, we support the Group in devising effective risk management solutions to steer, control and mitigate these risks. This includes, for instance, establishing various reporting frameworks to monitor ESG risks, as well as offering our expertise to the Group’s stakeholders, e.g., when bundling our Group’s approaches to ESG risk management. Given the significant regulatory focus and recently published documents like the EBA Guidelines on ESG Risk Management (EBA/GL/2025/01) and the EBA CP on ESG Scenario Analyses (EBA/GL/2025/02), our work in this area is particularly crucial and brings in a significant regulatory angle as well.

By nature, ESG factors act as inherent drivers of classic risk types such as credit, market or liquidity risk. In this sense, you will engage in this role with various risk types, with a primary focus on credit risk due to its material significance.

We are looking forward to the possibility of working together with you to advance the Group’s ESG risk profile and reporting solutions and to develop impactful risk management solutions. We look forward to hearing from you!

The position is located in Vilnius.

Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you different levels of seniority in the role.

"We celebrate multiple approaches and points of view. So, be yourself and bring your new ideas in. We like it that way."

You will:

  • Support the Group in ensuring all significant ESG risks are identified, measured, managed, and reported to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with both internal and external reporting requirements for various ESG risk-related reports
  • Provide expertise and insights to external and internal stakeholders across the Group to support our risk-management decisions
  • Familiarise with regulatory requirements and become proficient in the Group’s approach to ESG risk management across risk types

About you:

  • Higher education in finance, economics, mathematics or a related field
  • Practical experience in risk management within the financial sector, ideally with a focus on credit risk management
  • Motivated by enhancing your understanding of ESG risks and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Enjoy collaboration and reporting, with a focus on data collection and extraction
