Risk Data Analyst with Flair for BI Solutions and Infrastructure

As a Risk Analyst in the geographically diverse Risk Insights Squad, led by a dedicated Product Owner, you will collaborate with Data Engineers, Risk Analysts, and other specialists. You will also be an integral part of the Risk Analyst Chapter, reporting directly to the Chapter Lead located in Copenhagen, Denmark. This team, based in Copenhagen and Vilnius, consists of skilled analysts committed to defining and sharing best practices in Risk Analytics.

Your role will focus on co-developing, deploying and maintaining sophisticated risk Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting solutions. Your work will be essential in supporting Danske Bank’s leadership in proactive risk management.

You will:

  • Develop and maintain dynamic BI solutions that enable users to on-demand zoom in on desired areas and create tailor-made insights
  • Interpret and analyse complex credit risk data to support informed decision-making
  • Engage with a broad array of stakeholders, manage relationships and provide data expertise
  • Validate and improve current and future reporting standards within the Chapter
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of business processes and controls with a focus on actionable and risk reporting and BI solutions
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in risk data analysis and interpretation
  • Ensure documentation and system integrity to meet internal and external stakeholder requirements
  • Serve as an expert on risk reporting data, ensuring accuracy and usability of information

About you:

  • At least 3 years of previous experience working in similar roles in financial institutions
  • An academic degree in Business Administration, Economics, Econometrics, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related field
  • Proficient in using analytical- and data tools, such as SQL, Excel and BI tools like Tableau or Power BI for dynamic and visual reporting
  • Key abilities to design, create, and maintain clear, actionable reports and BI solutions, and you are prepared to push boundaries in data visualization to enhance the accessibility of complex data
  • A keen interest in risk data and proactive risk reporting, with a proven track record in handling data and applying it to solve business problems
  • A self-driven, analytical mindset with a high sense of responsibility and the capability to deliver results independently, but still as part of a team
  • Proven skills in managing and engaging with stakeholders effectively across various levels
  • A good understanding of credit risk metrics, including Expected Loss (EL), Exposure at Default (EAD), Probability of Default (PD), and Loss Given Default (LGD) (would be a bonus)
  • Upper-Intermediate English language skills

Monthly salary range from 2720 EUR to 4080 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
