Rating Analyst for Financial Institutions

Rating Lithuania team is a part of the Rating and Financial Analysis Department, consisting of about 60 employees working across several countries. You will be located in Vilnius and collaborate with colleagues in Scandinavia.

You will be part of the team that is responsible for credit ratings of a wide range of financial institutions, including banks, insurance companies, investment funds, etc. This team is essential in maintaining business relationships between the bank and these financial institutions.

You will:

  • Analyse information about financial institutions from various sources, such as financial statements, annual reports, internal systems, relationship managers, rating agencies, and other external sources
  • Use the information about the financial institution, financial analysis skills, and different rating models to assess credit quality and assign ratings
  • Document your findings in internal systems following Danske Bank’s requirements by preparing rating proposals based on information about the analysed financial institution
  • Monitor changes in the economic/operating environment and, if necessary, adjust the credit ratings accordingly
  • Consult with colleagues regarding financial analysis and credit risk evaluation related matters concerning financial institutions
  • Participate in various projects related to the improvement of the rating systems and processes

About you:

  • Knowledge of accounting concepts and fundamental financial analysis of financial institutions
  • Experience working with financial/credit analysis, corporate finance, accounting, or other similar fields
  • Higher education in accounting, finance, economics, or a similar field
  • Analytical thinking and a systematic approach
  • High sense of responsibility, drive, and commitment to delivering high quality on time
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively
  • Advanced English skills, both written and spoken

Monthly salary range from 2240 EUR to 3360 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
