The Everyday Banking Individuals Tribe in Danske Bank is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic Product Owner with a can-do attitude to lead our Digital Cards squad.

Becoming a part of the Everyday Banking Individuals Tribe, you will help deliver on our mission: to serve our customers by infusing the power of traditional banking and emerging market technologies to deliver intuitive, embedded and tailored offerings throughout our customers’ lives.

This tribe is strategically centered around customer journey solutions in the cards, accounts, and payments domains. We meet our customers evolving needs by providing embedded offerings and services within the daily banking retail space. Our product and service deliveries are achieved through a team of enthusiastic and experienced professionals – from Denmark and India.

You will get to lead the Digital Cards squad, which is part of the Card Journey cluster. This cluster includes four dedicated squads focused on providing attractive and seamless customers experiences within cards and mobile payment solutions.

You will:

As a Product Owner, you – and your new team – will be responsible for the end-to-end customer journeys for payment card products and processes with a strong presence in digital customer touch points; including our digital enablement of cards in digital wallets.

You will co-create vision for the squad, motivate, direct, and guide the squad members to deliver on the backlog, though you will not have HR responsibilities. In summary you will be responsible for the following:

  • Define initiatives on deliveries to support the banks strategy through monitoring of compliance and market trends
  • Develop, manage, and prioritize the backlog of business priorities through user stories
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain the best possible solutions for our customers
  • Monitor business and customer outcomes for the purpose of continuous improvement
  • Motivate and engage with your team, as your success is driven by collaboration and empowerment
  • Setting the scene for Danske Banks cards in the mobile bank and our Wallet solutions

About you:

You are an experienced product owner with a proven track-record in delivering strong digital solutions, a great relationship builder, who can navigate on both strategic and operational levels.

Additionally, you have:

  • Strong in stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong experience in leading agile product development teams, conducting agile ceremonies and processes to deliver business value
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive revenue growth
  • A natural interest in new technologies and are keen to bring them into your development portfolio
  • Understanding cards and digital wallets in the Nordic markets is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite
  • Upper-Intermediate skills in English

Monthly salary range from 3920 EUR to 5880 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
