Product Owner for Transaction API Squad in Financial Crime Lifecycle Management

Within the Financial Crime Lifecycle Management tribe, the Data & Modelling cluster consists of 4 squads (30 people across Lithuania, Denmark and India). One of these being the Transaction API squad (previously part of a bigger squad, and currently 8 employees).

The cluster’s mission is to strengthen data usage in Financial Crime Prevention, including building a solid data foundation with efficient data management. The Transaction API squad is responsible for exposing transaction data to uses cases within Financial Crime Prevention.

It is a great opportunity to help structure and mature one of the most critical data sets in a great existing team on latest technologies, while contributing to the banks capabilities to fight Financial Crime based on a growing and exciting backlog of development requests.

Depending on your skills, knowledge, and experience, you may be offered different seniority in the role.

You will:

  • Act as agile leader of the squad (not direct HR responsibility) by motivating, coaching and setting direction, and working close with Chapter Lead on professional development of the squad
  • Set sprint goals, sprint content and plan the backlog based on a roadmap agreed with stakeholders
  • Help leading, planning and delivering on the data management initiatives across Financial Crime Prevention

About you:

  • Solid stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience in driving data management within IT development
  • Experience with regulatory compliance
  • Experienced with Agile methodologies and ceremonies
  • Ability to effectively break down and prioritise tasks and solve problems
  • Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken

Monthly salary range from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
