The Markets Post Trade Technology tribe plays an important role in Danske Bank being able to provide our large corporate and institutional clients with trade services to support their life-cycle management of financial markets transactions. You will work together with dedicated colleagues in a global team across Denmark, Lithuania and India characterised by an inclusive and caring culture.

About the role
The securities post trade tech platform in Danske Bank is undergoing a massive transformation from legacy mainframe applications to a modernized and future-proofed platform consisting of a mix of vendor applications and in-house built .Net based applications in a micro service architecture.

As Product Owner, you will lead a team of 10-12 business and tech professionals and be instrumental in ensuring a good working environment with a culture that promotes both teamwork and empowerment.

You will be responsible for the prioritization of work according to our strategic goals ensuring alignment with both business stakeholders and the leadership team and not least responsible for the outcome of the deliveries of the team. By setting the direction for our platform and business, you will have the opportunity to utilise your skills to leverage business from an end-to-end perspective and work closely together with stakeholders across the organisation.

You will:

  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to bridge teams and domains, fostering a unified approach across Danske Bank
  • Drive our ongoing digital transformation by building solution roadmaps and prioritising the backlog
  • Create an encouraging and collaborative environment through inclusive leadership
  • Ensure your team delivers on time and provide support by removing impediments
  • Support the team’s continuous improvement in Agile maturity
  • Lead, plan and report ongoing work in relevant forums and communities

You will accomplish this in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, ensuring the right balance between driving IT services forward and adapting to key short-term requirements. You will collaborate with the business owner and end-users across the organisation, leveraging your problem-solving skills.

Monthly salary range from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
