Core Platform Squad develops and operates:

  • APIs to facilitate trade data exchange
  • APIs to retrieve trade financial metric results
  • Data processing pipelines to feed the APIs

About the Role: As a Chapter Lead, you will work closely with the Product Owner to bring and execute your vision of product delivery. Your responsibilities will cover both planning and execution:

Planning:

  • Understand business requirements and define non-functional targets, including performance, and recovery targets
  • Balance business needs with technical strategy

Execution:

  • Ensure the team has sufficient skills and capacity to deliver requirements and meet non-functional targets
  • Create and update team practices while staying in line with existing policies and instructions

Tech stack:

  • .net C#
  • SQL Server / TSQL
  • Kafka and RabbitMQ
  • Terraform, git, Azure DevOps server
  • On-prem moving to public cloud setup

The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

You will:

  • Be responsible for building and maintaining technical skills and capabilities in squad
  • Act as HR manager covering recruitment, training, performance management
  • Act as technical lead in team, responsible for taking decisions and maintaining technical processes
  • Own critical application services with 24/5 operation
  • Drive best practices in agile at scale and DevOps with an emphasis on CI/CD
  • Work closely with architect and other technical leaders from Markets area
  • Expect 2 weeks per year of business travel

About you:

  • 4+ years of experience in .net, C#, TSQL or similar
  • Experience in delivering critical event-driven systems
  • 1+ year of experience in people leadership
  • Curiosity and ownership of problems
  • Basic-intermediate understanding of financial markets products
  • Ability to build and maintain an effective team
  • Experience in hiring, onboarding and mentoring engineers into established team
  • Advanced English skills

Monthly salary range from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
