Markets Specialist in ETD Clearing

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) Clearing team within the Markets Services department in Vilnius, where you can actively contribute to the progression of Danske bank. In the ETD Clearing team, we work with different types of customers in Nordic countries and other Danske Bank Group regions, and our main mission is to help our clients run their businesses successfully.

As a Markets Specialist, you will be responsible for various back-office services, such as exchange-traded derivatives lifecycle management, reconciliations, investigations, and continuous process improvements. A Markets Specialist performs back-office tasks of medium complexity, while working closely with stakeholders, customers and global external partners (Nasdaq, Eurex, J.P. Morgan), with an additional focus on ongoing system or client projects.

You will:

  • Settle exchange traded futures and options on timely manner
  • Process transactions on behalf of clients and stakeholders
  • Perform daily controls and investigations
  • Update our register of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Collaborate with colleagues from front offices in the Nordics and global external partners via e-mail or phone
  • Constantly improve and optimize processes using Lean principles

About you:

  • Higher education (in Finance, Economics or relevant field would be an advantage)
  • 2+ Years of experience and knowledge in derivatives clearing or other banking back-office area (would be considered as an advantage)
  • Attentive to details and able to learn quickly
  • A Team-oriented person who enjoys working, sharing knowledge, and having fun together
  • Willing to develop and learn new things
  • Upper-Intermediate English language skills both in speaking and writing

Monthly salary range from 1920 EUR to 2880 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
