Markets Specialist in ETD Clearing

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) Clearing team within the Markets Services department in Vilnius, where you can actively contribute to the progression of Danske bank. In the ETD Clearing team, we work with different types of customers in Nordic countries and other Danske Bank Group regions, and our main mission is to help our clients run their businesses successfully.

As a Markets Specialist, you will be responsible for various back-office services, such as exchange-traded derivatives lifecycle management, reconciliations, investigations, and continuous process improvements. A Markets Specialist performs back-office tasks of low to medium complexity, while working closely with stakeholders and customers, with an additional focus on ongoing system or client projects.

Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you a different seniority of the role.

The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

This role does not include a relocation allowance for candidates who are not based in Lithuania.

You will:

  • Support colleagues in the area with a large variety of administrative tasks
  • Process transactions on behalf of clients and stakeholders
  • Perform controls and reviews of process steps
  • Update our register of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Collaborate with colleagues from front offices in the Nordics via e-mail or phone
  • Constantly improve and optimize processes using Lean principles

About you:

  • 1+ Years of Experience in Operational Services
  • Higher education or final year student (ability to work full time)
  • Attentive to details and able to learn quickly
  • A Team-oriented person who enjoys working, sharing knowledge, and having fun together
  • Willing to develop and learn new things
  • Upper-intermediate English language skills both in speaking and writing

Monthly salary range from 1920 EUR to 2880 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
