We are seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to implement and integrate a new Debt Collection system at Danske Bank.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of expert architects, developers, and business analysts who share a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Your role will include opportunities to learn, exchange your knowledge with others, contribute to existing solutions and do things from scratch. Your contributions will be crucial in transforming the Debt Management Area, evolving from a well-established project to an agile development unit while maintaining a high level of expertise and attitude.

You will:

  • Develop, deploy, maintain and support our solutions with complete end-to-end ownership mindset
  • Bring your enthusiasm and ideas that will be appreciated in our team
  • Create sustainable solutions inspired by the best practices and emphasis on clean code
  • Work closely together with Tribe architects, developers and business analysts to ensure our smooth progress
  • Work with: Java 17, Spring, MSSQL database and RabbitMQ
  • Use DevOps tools: Docker, OpenShift, Azure
  • Have fun being part of an exciting journey

About you:

  • 3+ years of experience within Java applications development and infrastructure
  • Solid Java ecosystem knowledge and hands on experience with Spring framework
  • Willing to take any type of tasks upon you: Dev and Ops
  • Have a natural interest in knowing our solutions, challenging and fixing areas which could be improved
  • Keen to gain business and domain understanding
  • Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Experience working in agile setups would be beneficial
  • Upper-Intermediate English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3480 EUR to 5220 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
