IT Network Engineer

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team, focusing on providing second-line support for our network operations. In this role, you will work closely with the first line of support to ensure smooth network operations and assist in network improvements and upgrades.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for managing network patching and upgrades, contributing to enhanced network reliability and performance. You will also help improve operational efficiency by empowering the first line of support with the necessary knowledge and tools.

This role requires a solid technical foundation, as you will assist in resolving network issues and support the team in maintaining compliance with industry standards. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the optimisation of our network services and be part of a collaborative team committed to delivering secure and efficient network solutions.

You will:

  • Provide second-line support for network operations, assisting in resolving technical issues escalated from the first line of support
  • Manage network upgrades and patching to ensure a secure and efficient environment
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to support network-related deliverables, helping to maintain high standards of quality and reliability
  • Assist in enhancing network observability through monitoring tools and methodologies
  • Contribute to network improvement initiatives, identifying areas for optimisation
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align network operations with broader organisational goals

About you:

  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals, including routing, switching, and related protocols
  • Hands-on experience in supporting and managing networks in enterprise environments
  • Basic knowledge of public cloud infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
  • Ability to assist in resolving complex technical issues and support sound technical decisions
  • Technical experience in networking infrastructure with 2+ years of hands-on expertise
  • Familiarity with network and automation tools is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
  • Advanced skills in English

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3120 EUR to 4680 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
