FuturePros Programme: DevOps (IT Platform Engineering) Track

This paid one-year program focuses on your development, providing you with practical experience for a career (re)start. Regardless of where you are in your journey, we are prepared to guide you and put your skills into practice. Prior work experience is not necessary, and we offer a flexible schedule that allows you to continue your studies. In addition, this programme includes various trainings, networking opportunities, and community events.

This year, we have several tracks available, including Business Analytics and Support track, Data Science, Engineering & Analytics track, IT Software Engineering track, DevOps (IT Platform Engineers) track. Choose the one that aligns most with your career aspirations and apply.

In the DevOps (IT Platform Engineers) track, we are seeking IT Platform Engineers, DevOps Engineers, ServiceNow Developers and IT Security Engineers to join our highly skilled teams.

The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

For FuturePros students monthly salary is 1750 Eur gross.

What’s next? All candidates will receive a homework task based on the profile they are applying for. Additionally, they will be invited to complete a profile preference questionnaire. Selected candidates will attend the assessment events in October, followed by final interviews with the hiring managers. The expected starting date is mid to late November 2025.

You will:

  • Join one of the FuturePros IT Teams at Danske Bank Lithuania as an IT Security Engineer, IT Platform Engineer, or IT Platform Engineer (DevOps Engineer)
  • If you join as a Cyber Security Operations Analyst, you will work with our Security Operations Center (SOC) to monitor and address security threats such as phishing campaigns and malware, leveraging advanced tools and techniques. Working alongside experienced teammates, you will continuously develop your skills while applying your cybersecurity knowledge to safeguard our systems
  • If you become an IT Platform Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with Databricks, Databricks asset bundles, MLflow, and the MLOps stack. You will also use tools like GitHub Actions, Unity Catalog, and Terraform, while applying your skills in SQL and Linux to optimise systems
  • If you are interested in the role of IT Platform Engineer (DevOps Engineer), you will work with Terraform, Python, YAML, Bash, and Powershell to automate workflows, collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, and utilise cloud platforms like AWS for efficient development and deployment
  • If you join as ServiceNow Developer, you will focus on integration development and apply your skills in JavaScript to create and enhance innovative solutions
  • Gain exposure to new technologies and tools tailored to your chosen role, with opportunities to grow your expertise in key areas of IT engineering

About you:

  • You are a curious graduate, a reskilled specialist, or a student in IT, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Have the foundational knowledge for your chosen role, obtained through higher education, coding school, or individual studies
  • Possess technical skills relevant to your profile, such as basic knowledge of operating systems, programming, scripting, or cloud technologies, and are ready to apply them in practical projects
  • You might already have experience in tools such as JavaScript, Windows/Linux OS, SQL, Python, AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions or you are willing to learn and develop your abilities in these areas
  • Coding, creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are your strengths
  • Have an interest in cybersecurity, platform engineering, or DevOps, and are willing to learn and expand your expertise in these areas
  • Enjoy working in a team and are open to exploring new concepts and technologies
  • Have a B2 level (Upper-intermediate) of English for daily communication in international teams
