FuturePros Programme: Data Science, Engineering and Analytics Track

This paid one-year program focuses on your development, providing you with practical experience for a career (re)start. Regardless of where you are in your journey, we are prepared to guide you and put your skills into practice. Prior work experience is not necessary, and we offer a flexible schedule that allows you to continue your studies. In addition, this programme includes various trainings, networking opportunities, and community events.

This year, we have several tracks available, including Business Analytics and Support track, Data Science, Engineering & Analytics track, IT Software Engineering track, DevOps (IT Platform Engineers) track. Choose the one that aligns most with your career aspirations and apply.

In Data Science, Engineering & Analytics track, we are looking for Data Scientists, IT Software Engineers (Data Engineers), IT System Analysts to join our highly skilled teams.

The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

For FuturePros students monthly salary is 1750 Eur gross.

What’s next? All candidates will receive a homework task based on the profile they are applying for. Additionally, they will be invited to complete a profile preference questionnaire. Selected candidates will attend the assessment events in October, followed by final interviews with the hiring managers. The expected starting date is mid to late November 2025.

You will:

  • Join one of the FuturePros Data Science, Engineering & Analytics Teams at Danske Bank Lithuania as Data Scientist, IT Software Engineer (Data Engineer), or IT System Analyst
  • If you become a Data Scientist, you will use Python, SQL, and your strong foundation in statistics and mathematics to develop models and provide data-driven insights. You’ll collaborate with your team to solve complex analytical challenges
  • If you take on the role of IT Software Engineer (Data Engineer), you will design and maintain data pipelines using SQL, Python, PySpark, and ETL processes. You will also work with AWS services like S3, Glue, and Lambda, as well as tools like SAS, Alteryx, and Tableau, to build scalable solutions and automate workflows. You will also have the opportunity to work with .NET
  • If you are interested in the role of IT System Analyst, you will support users by solving issues, analysing business requirements, and working with SQL Server tools (e.g., T-SQL or PL/SQL) and Python. You will also test features, optimise processes, and collaborate with business and developers to improve systems
  • Collaborate with data professionals to develop innovative solutions and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and technologies

About you:

  • You are a curious graduate, a reskilled specialist, or a student in Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Have foundational knowledge in data analysis, statistics, or software engineering, obtained through higher education, coding school, or personal learning
  • Possess an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  • You might already be familiar with tools like SQL, Python, Tableau, Git, or AWS, and are eager to apply or expand your knowledge in these areas
  • Have an interest in data science, engineering, or analytics, and are keen to learn new concepts and technologies
  • Enjoy working in a team and are ready to collaborate to deliver impactful data-driven solutions
  • Have a B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level of English for effective communication in international teams
