At the Housing Journeys Tribe, we are enthusiastic about empowering customers with intuitive digital experiences. We are the Awareness & Consideration squad, which includes a Product Owner, Business Analyst, UX Designer, and two full-stack developers. We are a team that works, learns, succeeds, and fails together. We possess a growth mindset, and with each sprint, we find ways to improve.

We are looking for a full-stack software engineer to join our team. We expect you to have experience in building web applications with React and TypeScript, as well as supporting Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services. You should be willing to create, discuss, and align with team goals. We expect you to strive for both professional and personal growth, and we will be happy to assist you throughout this journey.

You will:

  • Be strongly supported and empowered to grow in areas where you want to grow the most (be it React application development, infrastructure, refinement and coordination, soft skills)
  • Build new features and review code of your peers
  • Collaborate with business analysts and the product owner when refining requirements
  • Share support responsibilities for our solutions that run in production
  • Collaborate with our closest neighbours (the .NET team)
  • Identify technical debt and improvements for our solutions and work on implementing them
  • Work with other engineers to improve our development, testing, and deployment practices, as well as solution quality and maintainability
  • Be an active member of team life and events

About you:

  • You have solid knowledge in JavaScript (TypeScript), React, Node.js, testing frameworks (Jest/Playwright), CSS, and HTML
  • You have experience with CI/CD principles, with bonus points for familiarity with Azure DevOps
  • You possess an agile mindset and experience with agile methodologies
  • You have the ability to suggest technical solutions and openly share them with the team
  • You possess a high focus on code quality and the ability to guide others from that perspective
  • You have a genuine sense of ownership and responsibility
  • You have upper-intermediate English language skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3360 EUR to 5040 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

How your day will look like

Our sprint length is 2 weeks. We plan sprints on Mondays and end sprints on Fridays of the second week. On a regular day, we work on sprint tasks, which include the design and development of features, technical improvements, testing, and bug fixing. We also support our solutions that run in production.
