FinCrime Business Analyst

We are currently looking for a skilled data and reporting colleague, to take our setup on financial crime data governance to the next level. Someone who wants to cultivate an enjoyable workday with happy stakeholders, and be close to the data engine room, with satisfying and visible results, directly from their daily efforts.

The Financial Crime Data Management team consist of 8 analysts and data engineers, with locations in Copenhagen and Vilnius. We are a diverse team, comprising many nationalities, and therefore, English is our primary language. We collaborate with stakeholders on key initiatives within Financial Crime Prevention and ensure steady data-driven progress.

As our new Business Analyst, you will – with the help of your manager and assigned buddy – familiarize yourself with our organization, stakeholders, ways of working, guidelines, data landscape, and not to forget naming conventions, and so forth. This will help you to become a fully-fledged and highly appreciated member of the team. One of your first areas of responsibility will be to oversee the Data Transformation Working Group, to drive discovery, mapping, stakeholder management, and resolution of data challenges. As the primary driver of the group, you will be able to shape the future working of the group, together with other stakeholders. In addition to that, and in the longer term, we have a wide variety of both technical and co-ordinating responsibilities in the area, to give you a high degree of flexibility in creating a great further career trajectory for yourself.

For you to be comfortable in your role, you will need to be proficient with working with data, visualisation, and stakeholder management. SQL and/or Python knowledge will be helpful, as will Alteryx, Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau. However, the ability to work in a structured and smart way, to learn new tools and ways of working, for steady progress, will be most helpful of all.

Danske Bank supports a high degree of workplace flexibility (our team is currently using a hybrid working model, where we work 3 days or more a week in the office).

Feel free to apply at your earliest convenience, as we conduct interviews on an ongoing basis.

*Depending on your experience, you may be offered a different seniority of the role.

  • Depending on your skills and effectiveness: Translate business requirements for data and IT, assist with data remediation activities, map compliance documentation needs and gaps

About you:
