As an experienced Data Scientist, your analytical mindset and proficiency in data exploration, transformation and engineering will enable you to design, build and optimise decision flows, enhancing the efficiency, transparency and customer focus of credit granting processes. You will work in collaboration with a skilled team to innovate and deliver smarter automation solutions that reduce credit risk and improve customer advisory.

This role offers flexibility with a hybrid working model, where you can work up to 2 days per week from home.

You will be located in Vilnius, Lithuania.

You will:

  • Design and optimise decision flows to advance automation, improve customer advisory and minimise credit risk
  • Analyse and profile credit data to ensure high-quality, reliable insights and information
  • Transform and process data to enable automated, seamless and customer-focused solutions
  • Drive projects to implement our models to create a foundation for impact for the bank and our customers
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across customers, risk, credit, IT and business teams to deliver impactful outcomes
  • Bridge technical solutions with the customer journey, ensuring efficient, customer-centric processes

About you:

  • At least 2 years of experience with SQL and Python, using precision and analytical creativity to drive results
  • A degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Programming, Statistics or a similar field
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming with Python, with familiarity in microservice architecture
  • A strong passion for data exploration, transformation and delivering actionable insights
  • Solid communication skills as you are capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences and enhancing collaboration
  • Confidence in stakeholder management across diverse teams, with a focus on building connections and reaching shared goals
  • Upper-Intermediate English language skills, both written and spoken, with a professional and engaging approach
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines, Docker and/or OpenShift (would be beneficial)

Monthly salary range from 3440 EUR to 5160 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
