This position is strategically located around customer journey solutions in the cards, accounts, and payments domain. The tribe meets our customers’ evolving needs by providing embedded offerings and services, such as Cards services, Digital wallets, Accounts & Payment solutions, and many other edge services that go beyond traditional banking while promoting sustainable practices.

We are a team of enthusiastic and experienced professionals committed to excellence in high-quality software development. Your work location will be in our vibrant office in Vilnius, Lithuania. Our organization owns critical systems on various technology stacks and platforms, such as .Net C#, Java, Kubernetes, OpenShift in the private and public cloud eco-sphere.

Currently, we are looking for an Engineering Chapter Lead to join a diverse and inclusive team and become a part of a truly international working environment.

You will:

  • Be the HR manager for other skilled software engineers, you being accountable for them growing both on a professional and on a personal level. This includes classical HR responsibilities, performance reviews, training and recruitment activities
  • Lead and contribute to the maintenance, design, and development of new and existing services in our business domain
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, business analysts and other development teams to deliver high quality software solutions with a “Can Do” attitude and desire to get things done
  • Lead your team members within the guidelines of the tribe organizational framework, coaching and mentoring your chapter and fostering and supporting a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Support and collaborate with other Chapter leads in your tribe to deliver on leadership tasks and resolve issues

About you:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, ideally supplemented with certifications from AWS, Microsoft, GCP etc.
  • In-depth knowledge and ideally expert in full stack development: C# or Java
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with Kubernetes with On-Prem or public cloud
  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in designing, coding, pull request review and debugging complex applications
  • Comprehensive API and Microservice development experience
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps methodologies
  • Well-versed skills with terraform, good understanding of containerized / cloud native applications, and Security Development Lifecycle (SDL)
  • Good exposure on PubSub and Kafka streaming services
  • Upper-intermediate English skills

Monthly salary range from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
