Data Engineer in Market Abuse Regulation Squad

AWS Data Engineering Python SQL

Join our Lithuania based Market Abuse Regulation squad consisting of 3 experts. We own and develop regulatory system that monitors for potential market abuse. We’re part of the Risk and Compliance Tribe allowing us to collaborate widely with a broad range of experts.

Our team is currently transitioning to the AWS Cloud, therefore we have migration tasks in addition to standard new feature development on existing systems. We are looking for motivated engineer who is willing to learn new domains and are willing to share knowledge from previous experience.

You will work closely with business analysts, architects, and other data engineers.

The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

This role does not include a relocation allowance.

You will:

  • Play a role in defining and implementing AWS Cloud migration tasks
  • Implement new features
  • Improve the existing codebase
  • Ensure smooth system operations in Production
  • Design system components
  • Handle project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables in an agile, self-organizing scrum team

About you:

  • 3+ years of experience using Python and any SQL
  • Experience in working with API’s, database management systems, TDD, following SOLID principles
  • Experience building robust and resilient distributed systems
  • Experience in cloud platforms and understanding of cloud architecture would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
  • Demonstrated experience in secure coding practices
  • Good problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills
  • Advanced skills in English

Monthly salary range from 3440 EUR to 5160 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
