If you are a Data Engineer or an experienced data analyst, we want you to join our team as a Data Engineer and help our area become more efficient in keeping the financial sector a fair place!

LC&I Analytics is a data analytics team helping drive Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) area’s data agenda for our business unit. You will be working with 4 other colleagues – a data engineer and BI Analysts – to support a function of over 400 employees in their work.

As a Data Engineer, you will play an integral part in enabling the entire operations area to make data-driven decisions by maintaining, growing, and improving our data warehouse. Our team is creating value for all levels of stakeholders in the area, from performance management reporting for team leaders to customer deep-dive tools and dashboards for all FCP KYC LC&I employees.

You will be responsible for the maintenance of existing data flows and their optimisation, the implementation of new data into the team’s data warehouse, and creating data logic to get the area’s processes to greater efficiency and accuracy levels. Additionally, you will be participating in the maintenance and development of data tools that help the area plan their work and do their processes better. Based on your preference, you may occasionally build your own Tableau dashboards to visualise and communicate your data to stakeholders, or you can collaborate with team members to achieve the final result.

You will:

  • Extract data from core systems and internal databases and store it in our internal database
  • Streamline and optimise the ETL processes
  • Work closely with your team members on data delivery and insights by handling various complex ad-hoc requests collectively
  • Create automated monitoring and reporting solutions to ensure high data quality and transparency on a daily basis
  • Verify data, share insights, and engage in close dialogue with our stakeholders to communicate analytical insights and conclusions about data integrity and availability
  • Maintain and develop data tools in C#
  • Maintain and create business logic in the data warehouse for the team and stakeholders to use

About you:

  • Have 2+ years of experience working on analytical tasks
  • Expert SQL user (querying with Microsoft SQL Studio) and proven knowledge of SQL database architecture
  • Experience with data modelling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines with software such as SSIS, Alteryx, Talend, and similar
  • Upper-Intermediate English language skills (both spoken and written)
  • Great collaboration skills to come up with the right solutions together with our business partners
  • Self-driven, able to identify problems, and willing to support the team
  • Higher education in Mathematics, Economics, Management Information Systems, or other related
  • Knowledge of any programming language, preferably C#
  • Knowledge of Data Visualisation (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) would be beneficial

Monthly salary range from 3360 EUR to 5040 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
