Data Engineer in Financial Crime Lifecycle Management Tribe

We are looking for a Data Engineer with an agile mind-set interested in developing financial crime prevention systems in one of Denmark’s largest companies.

We are an agile team of highly skilled IT professionals working closely together in an informal atmosphere across Lithuania, Denmark, and India.

We are currently scaling our team to support our API journey in Danske Bank and looking for a skilled data engineer to join our Vilnius team.

You will:

  • Take responsibility for solutions (from design to deployment)
  • Inspire colleagues by setting an example of professionalism and proper work ethics
  • Expand our thinking based on your experience with new technologies
  • Regularly monitor and maintain vendor system to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Coordinate with source systems to agree upon data structure and ensure compatibility with the vendor system
  • Configure and optimize data extraction methods from source systems to ensure accurate and efficient data transfer
  • Implement data transformation processes as necessary to standardize, clean, and enrich data for analysis and reporting purposes

About you:

  • 3+ years’ experience in IT area
  • Experience with SQL (or other query languages) and databases
  • Experience with complex data transformation and visualization
  • Knowledge of one or more programming languages
  • Solution focused thinking and a strong problem-solving mindset to tackle customer requests and problems
  • Ability to keep a strong focus on customer needs
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Upper-Intermediate English skills

Would be an advantage:

  • Experience in Business Intelligence and dashboarding
  • Experience with commonly used Business Information Systems like ERP or CRM systems (SAP, SalesForce, etc.)
  • Experience with Process Mining

Monthly salary range from 3360 EUR to 5040 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
