Data Engineer in Financial Crime Lifecycle Management Tribe

Welcome to the Financial Crime Lifecycle Management Tribe, where our mission is to provide effective financial crime prevention services for both our customers and employees. We manage processes and events in coherent customer lifecycles through a shared data foundation, efficient process solutions, and human-centered design. We are a collaborative tribe of approximately 100 colleagues located in three different countries.

We are currently seeking a data engineer for our Transaction Analysis and Models squad. You will:

  • Develop and oversee data integration processes, ETL workflows, and data pipelines, handling large data streams
  • Construct data models and structured data solutions to ensure high standards of data quality, consistency, and reliability
  • Streamline the performance of data pipelines for efficient data retrieval and processing
  • Integrate raw information from diverse sources, demonstrating your ability to work with various data sets
  • Collaborate with other data professionals to establish robust data governance, validation, and development practices
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in data engineering to ensure maximum efficiency and software quality
  • Participate actively in a self-organizing Scrum team, exhibiting your agile mindset
  • Recognize the importance of comprehensive documentation and contribute when necessary to promote knowledge sharing within the team

About you:

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a data engineer, data scientist, or in a similar role
  • You have a good understanding of the big data ecosystem, including cloud technologies
  • You have solid Python skills, along with familiarity with PySpark, Hadoop, Hive, Airflow, and SQL. Experience with AWS technologies will be a bonus
  • You have experience optimizing the performance of Spark processes
  • You possess keen analytical thinking and attention to detail. Your comprehensive communication and interpersonal skills facilitate smooth collaboration with team members and stakeholders
  • You carry an agile mindset, open to adjustments based on new requirements, information, or evolving team needs
  • You have upper-intermediate English language skills
  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3360 EUR to 5040 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
