Container Platform Product Owner

In Compute Services (CS) department Compute Hosting team playing key role for providing best in class, high stability and cost optimized compute offerings on-premise and in public cloud.

We are in exciting journey of migrating workloads from private to public cloud and facing many interesting challenges – migrating and adapting existing technologies to cloud, build new strategic container platform for application modernization and keep it stable, reliable and optimized.

We are looking Product Owner who will play crucial role of container platform development by collecting requirements, creating roadmap, ensuring development and governance.

You are a great fit if you have background and strong understanding of container technology principles, good communication, ownership leadership, and analytical abilities, alongside expertise in Agile methodologies like Scrum, and a deep understanding of business needs and product vision.

You will:

  • Define container platform product vision, goals, success criteria
  • Own product roadmap in alignment with strategic objectives and priorities
  • Ensure governance and compliance of the product
  • Communicate product vision and strategy while managing the product backlog to align with strategic objectives and priorities
  • Collaborate with Container engineering lead, technical teams to create developer centric platform across Danske Bank
  • Support end-user needs by engaging, observing, and responding to their feedback
  • Analyze market trends to shape strategic product development roadmaps

About you:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of containerization ecosystem (AWS EKS, ECS, Fargate, Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker), application development, microservices architecture
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Product Owner with strong understanding of product and software lifecycle management
  • Experience working closely with technicians and software engineers, business analysts, and business leadership to define product vision and strategy across product areas
  • Strategic mindset and ability to build long term direction together with stakeholders
  • Ability to progressively lead the team towards delivery, ensuring daily advancements towards project goals
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills, and an ability to navigate in a large and complex business
  • Experience with third party vendor management processes
  • Experience in working with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Upper-Intermediate English skills

Monthly salary range from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
