The Service Portfolio is managed in ServiceNow and is the golden source of information for the services delivered to our colleagues and customers. We govern the Service Portfolio so that Service Owners can always maintain their ownership responsibilities of configuration, compliance and reporting.

As part of CSDM, Configuration Management ensures that all configuration items (CIs) are owned and managed effectively by establishing centralized processes and governance.

Currently we are looking for a Configuration Management Specialist to lead and enhance our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Service Portfolio. This position requires a strategic thinker who can coordinate improvement initiatives and ensure the accuracy of our configuration data.

You will:

Take ownership of the CMDB and Service Portfolio
Coordinate improvement initiatives from requirement collection to technical solution design and testing
Provide guidance on CMDB and service data modelling within the organisation
Develop data governance policies and considerations
Collaborate with teams across the organisation to refine processes for better configuration data gathering
Identify data errors to ensure accuracy
Gather, analyse, and verify data on existing enterprise platforms, infrastructure, software, and documentation for database entry

About you:

Experienced in CMDB and ITIL processes
Skilled in defining and registering configuration items (CIs), necessary attributes, and relationships to support CMDB Inventory Management
Create and monitor data quality controls to ensure the accuracy of data from different sources
Able to work closely with Service Owners and Technical Teams to establish business requirements for CMDB
Capable of reconciling CMDB data with other authoritative production data repositories when deviations are identified
Experienced in creating reports for business consumption from CMDB
Able to translate technical and service language into business terms
Familiar with the Common Service Data Model
Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 4480 EUR to 6720 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
