Compliance Officer for Asset Management Compliance

The team you will join is a Nordic team, and we are now looking for a Compliance Officer either in Denmark, Lithuania, or Poland. As a team, we support a proactive, positive, open, collaborative, and friendly atmosphere. We are represented in Copenhagen, Helsinki, and Oslo, and there will be daily cooperation with colleagues across these countries.

In Asset Management Compliance, we are overseeing, advising, and guiding Asset Management business area (i.e., Asset Management and the Group’s subsidiaries, Danske Invest and Danske Private Equity), on their management of regulatory compliance and conduct risk. Your responsibility will be to act as a trusted advisor to support our Compliance services towards Asset Management business, promote a good compliance culture, and assist in ensuring that our Asset Management business stay compliant with applicable laws and regulations. Depending on your experience, you will contribute to the interactions with the stakeholders in Asset Management and Group Compliance in the context of our oversight, advisory, and reporting responsibilities.

You will:

  • Oversee and advise business on regulatory compliance risks
  • Proactively identify, assess, and call out unmitigated regulatory compliance risks
  • Review product approval requests and related risk assessments
  • Perform and contribute to compliance monitoring’s
  • Develop and conduct relevant compliance training initiatives for Asset Management

About you:

  • Preferably, more than two years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, or Internal Audit within the financial industry
  • Some experience with Asset Management business and related applicable legislation, such as, e.g., MifID II, MAR, UCITS, and AIFMD
  • Higher education, preferably in Business, Economics, Law, or alike
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency as well as advanced English language skills
  • You are open-minded, eager to learn, willing to share your experience and learnings, and comfortable working independently
  • You have great communication and listening skills, can understand complex matters and explain them in a simple way, and have a proven history of positive stakeholder engagements

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 2400 EUR to 3600 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
