Client Manager in Investor Services

Are you ready to take your career to the next level with Danske Bank’s Investor Services Client Management team? We are seeking a Client Manager to support our Norwegian corporate and institutional clients, ensuring their post-trade activities are seamless and efficient. As part of a dedicated team spanning Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Lithuania, you will build bridges across the bank and foster strong client relationships.

As a Client Manager in Investor Services, you will provide daily support to Norwegian customers, assisting major Nordic corporate and institutional clients with their custody activities. We focus on our customers’ needs for post-trade services, which include a range of Investor Services products:

  • Custody (Global Custody and Depositary Services), Asset Services, Securities Settlement, Tax
  • Back and Middle Office Services
  • OTC Clearing
  • ETD Clearing
  • FX Services
  • Collateral Management

The team leads optimisation and transformational projects within Investor Services and the bank’s post-trade value chain. In this customer-facing role, the Investor Services Client Management team ensures comprehensive accountability for meeting customer service needs across all Investor Services products.

*Regular travel to Norway is expected (1-2 times per year).

You will:

In this role, you will gain expertise in custody and post-trade products, along with a thorough understanding of market, vendor, and regulatory dynamics to effectively engage with the team, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Working with stakeholders, you will drive initiatives and maintain focus to meet customer needs and timelines, acting on behalf of the client. You will manage your own portfolio of Norwegian clients, serving as their primary Client Manager for daily support and post-trade queries.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders e.g. Investor Services Sales, Relationship Management, Implementation, Network Management, IT, Operational teams
  • Secure sustainable customer relations with a proactive and service-minded approach
  • Lead and facilitate customer meetings
  • Participate in pre-sales and ad-hoc client meetings
  • Train customers on our digital solutions, guiding them guide through our digital transformation
  • Onboard new customers and expand services to existing ones
  • Lead and engage in various projects

About you:

  • Customer and task-oriented approach, with a structured and organised mindset
  • Willingness to learn and develop in the role
  • Ability to work independently while being a flexible and reliable team member
  • Competence in navigating the complexities of working with large corporate and institutional clients
  • Experience in customer-facing roles or within the post-trade value chain in a financial institution (preferred)
  • Contribution to a positive team spirit and an open-minded approach
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality work and deliveries
  • Fluency in Norwegian language is preferable. Alternatively, one of the other Scandinavian languages
  • Advanced English knowledge skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 2480 EUR to 3720 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
