Chief Risk Manager for Business Risk and Controls

Are you motivated to manage risk in a highly innovative organisation? Do you want to be part of a highly dedicated and ambitious team? Then you might be our new Chief Risk Manager for Business Risk & Controls.

You will become part of Business Risk & Controls (BRC) in Technology & Services (T&S), which supports all of T&S on the risk agenda. BRC consists of five teams, and you will join the Risk Managers team, which includes 17 team members. In collaboration with other team members, you will support T&S Large Corporate & Institutions (T&S LC&I) in mitigating their risks.

You will be located in Vilnius, Lithuania, but working from home up to two days a week is an option.

This role does not include a relocation allowance.

You will:

  • Collaborate with BRC to drive the identification of Non-Financial risks and related controls across T&S LC&I
  • Ensure timely escalation of operational risk losses, lead root cause analysis, and issue reporting
  • Monitor remediation plans to enable the global head of T&S LC&I to demonstrate compliance with obligations across the overarching T&S LC&I and bank-wide environment
  • Participate in or lead the implementation of risk management initiatives as part of the global T&S LC&I strategy
  • Ensure risk management policies are adhered to, facilitate related reviews, and identify gaps with policy owners
  • Engage with key stakeholders including global T&S LC&I functional heads
  • Promote a culture of continuous focus on risk management

About you:

  • Extensive experience in risk management and the application of associated tools and techniques
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to tailor communication messages and style to suit multiple stakeholder groups across all levels of seniority
  • Knowledge of technology and/or operations related to group functions within the financial services sector
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with business partners
  • Ability and willingness to acquire new business knowledge and skills
  • Ability to define risk management strategy by influencing colleagues and teams across different geographies to deliver a consistent agenda
  • Effective ability to support and ensure an operational risk framework

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 4280 EUR to 6420 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
