Digital Core is a Tribe organized in 16 cross functional squads across Denmark, Poland and India, all committed to delivering effective end2end solutions for both external customers of Danske Bank and internal consumers of our data. Our main mission is to deliver highly available, enterprise services that provide customer and account data and functionality to enable the banks digital customer interactions.

We are on a mission to make a world class core bank that is simple, easy-to-use and configurable for our users.

Digital Core is establishing new squad in Vilnius, and this is a unique opportunity to come in early in the process and help build and influence squad’s technical direction and the culture.

You will:

Join well established engineering community
Take over codebase parts from other Digital Core squads, they are eager to help
Lead and contribute designing event and API focused, cloud hosted architecture where data consumer self-service is the way forward
Ensure applications are reliable, scalable and fast through strategic design
Guide and unblock other engineers
Play a key role in cross-functional IT initiatives (going outside of a squad)
NOT have to register your time in any shape or form, we value people and results, not timesheets

About you:

Extensive experience (7+ years) with Java and MS SQL
Solid experience with designing solutions
Solid experience with Spring Boot
Solid experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka
Knowledge of ELK
Knowledge of AWS
Knowledge of Docker
Advanced English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 5440 EUR to 8160 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
