Our international team in the Data & Analytics function works with each of the businesses to enable adoption of data and utilize analytics and data science to enhance our products and services to our clients. As a Chief Engineer you will be an important part of modernizing our Big Data platform, defining development practices as well as migrating different platforms to public cloud.

You will:

Analyse and improve platform’s performance and reliability
Design, build and set up tools / practices for data platform
Research, development & deployment of the solutions
Access control, Data control
Troubleshoot and resolve issues on test and production environments
Automate processes, operations and remediation actions
Establish DevOps and Best-practises for working on our current and future cloud data platform ensuring we maximise value from new technologies

About you:

Proven experience with Hadoop technology
5+ years of expertise with Spark development
5+ years of experience with Python development
2+ years of experience with Linux administration
2 years of experience with CI / CD tools
Experience with Airflow or DAG development
A team player with a good sense of ownership, motivation and willingness to take accountability and develop projects/tasks to completion
Experience with public cloud (AWS or GCP) is nice to have
Intermediate English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 5440 EUR to 8160 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
