In Commercial Data and Analytics, we are more than +50 Analysts, Consultants, Engineers and Data Scientists working on transforming, tracking and improving the commercial results of Danske Bank.

We work with different types of data both behavioural and financial. We use each for sparring and professional discussions and set high standards for our deliveries. Commercial Data & Analytics resides within Commercial Excellence as part of the Personal Customer Business.

You will:

Build data products using PySpark
Support colleagues with efficient coding and best practises
Utilize Azure DevOps to develop and maintain deployment pipelines
Drive innovation by designing data solutions and advanced analytics to unlock the full potential of our data assets, covering both high- and low latency data
Establish and enforce data governance principles, policies, and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance while fostering a data-driven culture within the organization
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and sustainable data products/models that support data-driven organisation and business model

About you:

8+ years of experience in roles related to data engineering, database design, and data management
Demonstrated success in designing and implementing complex data solutions for organizations, ideally in various industries or domains
Strong technical skills in Hadoop ecosystem technologies, Apache Spark and Apache Airflow
Comfortable with scripting languages such as Python or similar
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and innovation. We want efficient pipelines and best practises for our Airflow DAGs
Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leaders
A committed to staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in software and data engineering which we as an organisation will suppor
Advanced English language skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 4880 EUR to 7320 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
