Chapter lead in Credit Journey Tribe

Credit Journey Tribe teams have a goal to disrupt traditional credit granting processes and put customers first by fast and transparent credit decisions. Our focal point is to engage gratification and higher customer satisfaction from what we do. Some of the key aspects that will take us there, are automated decisions in the customer journey by working from a perspective of contributing to a standardised process and minimizing resources spend.

You will be part of an international team, working from our offices in Copenhagen, Vilnius and Warsaw. A team with a flat structure and informal atmosphere. Our focus is to have a good collaboration and enable the best in each other. You will be working in a self-organized Agile Squad, which brings together the best of expert knowledge to secure best standards for our solutions and increase end-to-end ownership.

This role offers the chance to lead and shape technology strategy across multiple squads, affecting both technical and business outcomes. You’ll drive strategic initiatives, using diverse technologies and modern practices to manage complex obstacles in a collaborative environment. We seek a strategic thinker who can set technology direction, align initiatives with business goals, and bridge gaps between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. You should anticipate challenges, encourage creative solutions, and drive continuous improvements. As a hands-on expert with broad technical experience, you’ll dive into problem-solving while keeping the bigger picture in mind.

You will:

  • Build, oversee and mentor a diverse team of developers and engineers working across various technologies, ensuring best practices and continues professional growth
  • Be designing and managing cloud infrastructure, optimising costs, ensuring security. Using EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift tools and other technologies. As well as working with real-time data streaming and processing by using Apache Kafka, Apache Flink
  • Be designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure platforms by using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Prometheus, Grafana, Jenkins with focus on infrastructure as a code
  • Identify and resolve technical and process-related issues within individual squads and across the tribe, promoting a collaborative problem solving-environment
  • Promote knowledge sharing and continues learning by encouraging the adoption of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies beyond a single technology stack. Step in to support teams with critical issues or complex projects, leveraging knowledge across multiple technologies when needed
  • Champion the adoption and refinement of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices to streamline software development and development
  • Act as bridge between technical, product and operations teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of project objectives across squads
  • Mentor team members, facilitate technical training and career growth, and be involved in recruiting qualified professionals to enhance the technical chapter

About you:

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and continues learning
  • Ability to align technical initiatives with business goals and drive strategic projects across multiple squads and the broader organization
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues and improve processes across squads
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership
  • Experience in recruiting, coaching and developing technical talent to ensure team growth and sustained excellence
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and DevOps practices
  • Extensive experience with a diverse range of technologies – including Java, modern web frameworks, cloud platforms to address various technical issues
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms (i.e. AWS) and a solid grasp of modern infrastructure and development practices
  • Upper-Intermediate English language skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
