Chapter Lead for Business Analysts in Housing Journeys

The Housing Journeys Tribe offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the productivity and satisfaction of Business Analysts within the tribe and to deliver high-quality end-to-end experiences for both customers and colleagues in the mortgage finance journeys. This position is part of the Modernised Housing Adviser Tool squad, which is responsible for introducing a simple and modern advisory system within the housing sector in Denmark.

As the Chapter Lead, you are an innovative and motivated leader who combines deep expertise with an interest in coaching and developing others. You act as a “player and coach,” spending approximately 30% of your time managing your chapter and the remaining 70% contributing as a Business Analyst in a squad delivering value through completed work.

You will have HR responsibility for your chapter members, who will report to you as their Line Manager. Therefore, you are motivated to support their growth and development by adopting a catalyst leader mindset and approach.

As a Business Analyst and a squad member of this motivated team, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues who are driven to improve the advisory experience. This includes minimising the number of systems and enabling faster decision-making for both customers and advisers. We work in an agile setup with a team consisting of a Product Owner, Business Analysts, developers, and an IT architect.

Joining us means being part of a diverse and forward-thinking team where you can share your expertise, learn from others, and play a key role in inspiring and developing your team within the organisation.

Depending on your experience, you may be offered a role with different seniority.

"Be yourself. We like it that way."

You will:

  • Build and strengthen the chapter by shaping tools, resources and processes that enable its members to thrive, empowering their development, enhancing competencies, facilitating performance evaluations and managing recruitment
  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to identify and translate business needs into actionable objectives, while rethinking and improving existing practices
  • Provide domain expertise to the development team, support testing, facilitate workshops and analyse challenges to drive effective solutions

About you:

  • At least 2-3 years of leadership experience, demonstrating strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to effectively facilitate competence discussions
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
  • A responsive leadership style, actively listening to team members’ needs, adapting to evolving challenges and fostering an inclusive, supportive environment. You prioritise open communication, empower others to succeed and ensure the team has the resources and guidance needed to thrive
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into effective system solutions
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to efficiently manage tasks with a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude and strong coordination skills in complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
